The development of British landscape painting in water-colours
A survey of British watercolour landscape painting written by A. J. Finberg with E. A. Taylor and Charles Holme, issued by The Studio in London and New York in 1918 for collectors and art students. The colour plates reproduce loose washes of hillsides, cliffs, rivers and cottages in ochre, olive and rust, useful for weathered textures, atmospheric gradients and muted palettes.
