Old time wall papers; an account of the pictorial papers on our forefathers' walls, with a study of the historical development of wall paper making and decoration
A survey of pictorial wallpapers in early American homes, written by Kate Sanborn and printed by the Literary Collector Press in Greenwich, Connecticut, in 1905 for collectors and antiquarians. Plates reproduce wallpaper panels in flat color layers on tan mounts: costumed figures in landscapes, repeating scenic vignettes with deer and trees, and monochrome strips of harbor and grazing scenes.
