Sculpture in Spain
A survey of Spanish sculpture by Albert Frederick Calvert, published in London and New York by John Lane in 1912 as part of his illustrated Spanish Series for English-speaking travellers and students. Halftone photographs record carved retables, choir stalls, tomb effigies, polychrome saints and niche figures, giving designers dense relief patterning, drapery studies and architectural frames in soft grey tone.
