Peasant art in Sweden, Lapland and Iceland;
A survey of Nordic folk art issued as a special number of The Studio in London and New York in 1910, edited by Charles Holme with texts by Sten Granlund and others, aimed at collectors, craftsmen and designers of the Arts and Crafts period. The colour plates are painted interiors and farmyard scenes in warm browns, reds and ochres, showing log walls, painted cupboards, woven textiles and women in regional dress, useful for folk pattern motifs, vernacular building detail and muted period colour palettes.
