The philosophy of color
A 1904 New York manual on color theory and its use in interior decoration, written by Chandler Robbins Clifford and issued by Clifford & Lawton for decorators and furnishing trades. Plates pair diagrammatic color wheels in flat primaries, secondaries and tertiaries with watercolor views of papered rooms, giving designers both clean geometric color charts and period damask and upholstery schemes.
