A book of bridges
A 1915 survey of bridges by Walter Shaw Sparrow, published by John Lane in London and New York and illustrated throughout by Frank Brangwyn, aimed at art-minded general readers. Brangwyn's pen drawings use dense hatching and heavy blacks against bare paper, while the colour plates are loose washes; useful for arch silhouettes, riverside crowds, and high-contrast architectural line work.
