Catalogue of the well-known collection of Chinese porcelain
An auction catalogue of Sidney Ernest Kennedy's Chinese porcelain collection, printed by William Clowes in London in 1916 for collectors, dealers and bidders at the sale. The 26 halftone plates isolate single vases, bottles and standing figures against plain grounds, recording incised and painted surface ornament — peony scrolls, foliate bands, fluted necks, reserved panels with figures under trees — usable as silhouettes, motif sources or texture fills.
