Chicago's greatest issue; an official plan
A 1911 pamphlet issued by the Chicago Plan Commission to sell Burnham's city plan to voters and taxpayers, reproducing drawings from the Plan of Chicago. Halftone plates show street-grid diagrams with diagonal boulevards and blackened proposed cuts, lakefront park schemes, and a panoramic bird's-eye view of the 1866 city, useful for map textures and planning diagram layouts.
