Program of competition for the selection of an architect to design and supervise the construction of the James Scott fountain
A 1914 architectural competition program issued by Detroit's City Plan Commission, setting terms for architects bidding to design the James Scott memorial fountain on Belle Isle. The plates are engineering survey sheets: contour and soundings maps of the island and river channel, street plats marked with fair grounds and park drives, and a folding city map with a dense street index and an inset panorama photograph.
