City plan of Joliet
A 1921 city planning report prepared for the Joliet, Illinois City Plan Commission by Chicago consulting architects Edward H. Bennett and William E. Parsons, addressed to municipal officials and civic boosters. The plates are large color lithographic maps keyed by legend, with yellow, orange and red zoning washes, green parkland, blue river channels, ruled street grids and hand-lettered titles usable as pattern and typographic reference.
