The stars and their stories; a book for young people
A children's astronomy reader compiled by Mary Matlock Griffith and published by Henry Holt in New York in 1913, pairing star lore and classical myth with seasonal sky charts. The plates are circular black-and-white star maps with dotted constellation lines, graded dots for magnitude, stippled Milky Way bands and hand-lettered names, plus isolated diagrams of single figures like the Dipper.
