The early printers of Spain and Portugal
A bibliographical survey by Konrad Haebler, printed for the Bibliographical Society in London in 1897, cataloguing the fifteenth-century presses of Spain and Portugal for scholars and collectors. Facsimile woodcuts reproduce title borders, printers' devices, foliate initials, evangelist symbols around a cross, and a crowned seven-headed dragon, all in coarse black line usable as ornament, letterform, or heraldic motif.
