A numismatic monograph by dealer Edouard Frossard, self-published at Irvington, New York, in 1879, cataloguing United States cents and half cents struck between 1793 and 1857 for collectors and coin dealers. The plates are close photographic views of copper coins: draped and capped Liberty heads, dentilled rims, and reverse wreaths enclosing ONE CENT, useful as circular emblems, lettered borders, and date numerals.
