Hammond's business atlas of economic geography: a new series of maps showing: relief of the land, temperature, rainfall, natural vegetation, productive and non-productive regions, mineral products, agricultural products, distribution of population, etc., etc
A commercial thematic atlas issued by C. S. Hammond & Company in New York in 1921, made for businessmen, salesmen and students who needed to see where crops, minerals, people and rainfall were concentrated. The plates are lithographed maps in flat washes of green, yellow and grey with red and black overprinting for ore deposits, isotherms, arrows and dotted boundaries, useful for layered color separations, hand-lettered place names and small territorial symbols.
