The Franco-British exhibition of textiles 1921
An exhibition catalogue of European tapestries and woven textiles issued by the Victoria and Albert Museum's Department of Textiles, printed for H.M. Stationery Office in London in 1922 for curators, collectors and the textile trade. The 79 halftone plates show figured tapestry panels inside dense floral and grotesque borders, plus symmetrical strapwork and acanthus ornament usable as frames, endpapers and repeat patterns.
