Photography in colours
A technical manual on colour photography by ophthalmologist G. Lindsay Johnson, published in London by Routledge in 1919 for photographers working with early screen-plate and three-colour processes. Plates show magnified mosaics of red, green and violet starch grains, overlapping additive and subtractive colour circles, and grainy colour landscape reproductions useful as halftone dot textures, colour-theory diagrams and early process palettes.
