Colour : an elementary manual for students
A. H. Church's 1891 instructional manual on colour, published by Cassell in London for art and science students learning pigment theory and optical mixing. The plates are flat printed demonstrations: grids of coloured rectangles on white, tan, and black grounds, gold discs on six saturated fields, and overlapping circles showing additive and subtractive mixture, usable as ready-made colour swatch geometry.
