A 1915 economics tract on unemployment, machinery and land nationalization, issued in Houston, Texas by its own publishing company for a general American readership. The plates are halftone studio portraits of mustached businessmen in dark suits, high collars and bow ties, cropped close against black or clouded backdrops, useful for period likenesses, coarse halftone dot texture and heavy chiaroscuro cutouts.
