Spectroscopy
A technical treatise on spectrum analysis by chemist E. C. C. Baly, published in London by Longmans, Green in 1918 for laboratory scientists and students. The plates are line-engraved sectional diagrams of spectroscope parts—prism mountings, slit assemblies, arc lamps—with hatched cut surfaces, lettered callouts, and elevation views useful as instrument schematics or hatching and labelling patterns.
