Handbook to the sculptures in the Museum of the Bangiya Sahitya Parishad
A 1922 museum handbook by Mano Mohan Ganguly cataloguing the Indic stone sculpture collection of the Bangiya Sahitya Parishad in Calcutta, written for visitors and students of Bengal antiquities. The plates are plain photographs of carved stelae against studio walls: seated and standing deities on lotus pedestals, pointed arch backslabs, attendant figures, makara and foliate scrollwork, with broken edges and chisel marks clearly visible.
