Craftsman furnishing for the home
A 1912 trade catalogue of Craftsman furniture, textiles, and metalwork issued by Gustav Stickley's Craftsman Publishing Company in New York for homeowners and decorators buying by mail. The plates are coarse halftone photographs of hanging curtains and portières, their folds reduced to hard black-and-white striping, with stitched border rules and small squared appliqué motifs along the hems; useful for grainy fabric textures, simple geometric edge banding, and stylized floral needlework panels.
