Hindu magic : an expose of the tricks of the yogis and fakirs of India
A short exposé by Hereward Carrington explaining the mango-tree, basket, and rope tricks of Indian yogis and fakirs, published in 1913 by The Sphinx in Kansas City for American stage magicians and conjuring hobbyists. Eight pen-and-ink figures show turbaned performers squatting over pots, cloth cones, and baskets, drawn in hard black strokes on white with cast shadows — usable as cut-out silhouette figures.
