Curious questions in history, literature, art, and social life : designed as a manual of general information
A three-volume compendium of general knowledge in question-and-answer form, compiled by Sarah H. Killikelly and published in Philadelphia in 1890 for self-educating readers and households. The wood-engraved plates are architectural views — the Pantheon inside and out, Pisa cathedral with its leaning tower, St Mark's — printed on tinted paper with hatched skies and small figures for scale.
