Cyclomathesis : or, An easy introduction to the several branches of the mathematics; being principally designed for the instruction of young students, before they enter upon the more abtruse and difficult parts thereof
William Emerson's Cyclomathesis, a multi-volume mathematics primer for young students, printed for J. Nourse in London in 1763, from John Quincy Adams's library. The plates are engraved geometry figures numbered in sequence and packed many to a page: lettered triangles, circles with inscribed chords, arcs, sectors and conic curves in fine line, usable as diagram motifs or dense page texture.
