The daily newspaper : the history of its production and distribution / [G.H.F.].
A short 1878 account of how a newspaper is made and circulated, written by "G.H.F." and published in Montreal by J. Dougall for general readers curious about the press. Wood-engraved vignettes show compositors at type cases, pressmen inking formes, and a wide interior view of a composing room, useful for period trade figures, machinery silhouettes, and workshop scenes.
