Dalmatia, the Quarnero and Istria, with Cettigne in Montenegro and the island of Grado
An architectural survey of Dalmatia, Istria, the Quarnero islands, Montenegro and Grado, written and drawn by the English architect Thomas Graham Jackson and issued by the Clarendon Press at Oxford in 1887 for architects, antiquarians and travellers. The plates are pen-and-ink interior and street views plus measured details: Romanesque and Venetian Gothic pulpits, ciboria, carved capitals, arcades and canopies, rendered in dense hatching with strong cast shadows, useful for ornament motifs and stone texture.
