Danicorum monumentorum libri sex : e spissis antiquitatum tenebris et in Dania ac Norvegia extantibus ruderibus
A Latin antiquarian survey of runic inscriptions and monuments in Denmark and Norway, compiled by Ole Worm and printed at Copenhagen in 1643 for scholars of northern antiquities. The woodcuts show standing stones in outline with hatched shading, their faces ruled into bands of runic characters, giving designers rune alphabets, carved-stone silhouettes and framed vertical text bands.
