Dante Gabriel Rossetti : his family-letters
An 1895 Boston edition of Dante Gabriel Rossetti's family letters, edited with a memoir by his brother William Michael Rossetti for readers following the Pre-Raphaelite circle. The plates are halftone reproductions of portraits — chalk and pen head studies of the poet, his father and his wife, plus a darkened oil painting — useful for period portrait heads, oval vignettes and soft sepia tonal grounds.
