Dante Gabriel Rossetti : his family-letters
A two-volume edition of Dante Gabriel Rossetti's correspondence, edited with a memoir by his brother William Michael Rossetti and published in Boston by Roberts Brothers in 1895 for readers following the Pre-Raphaelite circle. The plates reproduce Rossetti's pencil and pen portraits of family members in warm sepia halftone, offering close-cropped heads, bonnets, shawls and cross-hatched shading for portrait or period-face reference.
