Darstellungen normaler und krankhaft veränderter Körperteile an antiken Weihgaben
A 1912 monograph by Theodor Meyer-Steineg, published by Gustav Fischer in Jena, cataloguing ancient votive offerings that depict healthy and diseased body parts for historians of medicine and art. Halftone plates photograph terracotta and stone ex-votos against plain grounds: torsos, uteri, paired eyes, lungs with trachea, and portrait heads, useful as isolated anatomical silhouettes and inscribed fragments.
