Karl Theodor Zingeler's 1889 study, published in Görlitz by Starke, traces the arms of the princely House of Hohenzollern from earliest records to the 19th century, with an appendix of marriage arms, addressed to German heraldists and genealogists. Line engravings reproduce wax seals and shields: quartered fields, crested helms, stag-antler crests, supporters and Latin legends ringing each disc, useful for hatching patterns, circular lettering and blazon outlines.
