Das Wunderblut zu Wilsnack : niederdeutscher Einblattdruck mit 15 Holzschnitten aus der Zeit von 1510-1520
A 1904 Strasbourg facsimile, edited by Paul Heitz and W. L. Schreiber for print scholars and collectors, reproducing a Low German broadside of about 1510–1520 that tells the story of the miraculous blood relic at Wilsnack in fifteen woodcuts. The blocks are narrow horizontal strips split into panels by tree trunks and doorframes, with heavy outline figures of pilgrims, bishops, and armed riders against hatched hills and gabled buildings — useful for sequential panel layouts, crowd silhouettes, and coarse line texture.
