The Davis & Furber Machine Company and the men who made it, 1832-1908
A company history issued in 1908 by the Davis & Furber Machine Company of North Andover, Massachusetts, marking seventy-five years of building textile machinery and honoring its founders, partners and workmen. Most plates are oval halftone portraits of bearded and clean-shaven businessmen in dark suits, printed soft-edged on cream stock, alongside Art Nouveau page borders of curling stems and flower heads.
