A posthumous antiquarian survey of the remains of ancient Rome by the Dutch artist Bonaventura van Overbeke, issued in Italian with text by Paolo Rolli and printed in London by Thomas Edlin in 1739 for collectors and students of antiquity. Outline engravings pair coin obverses and reverses as circles, combining profile heads of emperors and popes with miniature temples, bridges, obelisks and aqueducts, plus Roman capital lettering curved to the rim.
