De la construction oratoire
A French treatise on oratorical construction and word order by Charles Batteux, published in Paris by Desaint & Saillant in 1763 for scholars of rhetoric and public speaking. Decoration is typographic: small woodcut flower sprays in urns, a scrolled horizontal headpiece band, and a library ownership stamp, all usable as chapter ornaments, rules, and spot motifs.
