Campanile, Filiberto, 17th cent, Cavagna Sangiuliani di Gualdana, Antonio, conte, 1843-1913, former owner. IU-R · 1701 · Napoli · 68 pictures

A fourth-edition armorial of the noble families of the Kingdom of Naples, extinct and living, compiled by Filiberto Campanile and printed at Naples in 1701 for genealogists, heralds and the families themselves. Seventy small woodcuts set each shield beneath a helm with crown and crest — eagles, griffins, lions — framed by acanthus mantling or looping ribbon, with fields rendered in dense parallel line-hatching that gives usable heraldic texture, crest silhouettes and compact ornamental frames.
