Dell'arte pittorica libri VIII. : coll'aggiunta di Componimenti diversi
Adamo Chiusole's eight-book Italian treatise on painting with appended miscellaneous writings, printed in Venice by Caroboli e Pompeati in 1768 for artists, students and connoisseurs. The plates shown are small letterpress woodcut headpieces and tailpieces — scrollwork cartouches, a flower-filled urn, crossed torches and arrows, a sunburst over books and drafting tools — usable as spot ornaments, dividers and chapter marks.
