De l'électricité du corps humain dans l'état de santé et de maladie
A French treatise by the abbé Pierre Bertholon on electricity in the healthy and diseased human body, printed at Lyon by Bernuset in 1780 for physicians and natural philosophers. The pictures here are small letterpress woodcut ornaments — a fluted urn spilling flowers and leaves above a stepped plinth, and a loose floral spray — usable as chapter headpieces, tailpieces, or spot motifs.
