Baldassare Orsini's 1790 survey of the paintings, sculpture and architecture of Ascoli Piceno in the Marche, printed in Perugia with plates engraved by Raimondo Faucci for antiquarians and travellers. The small oblong etchings, printed sideways on the page, give frontal elevations of churches, palaces and ruined loggias with a few figures and carriages for scale, each under an engraved italic caption — useful for facade outlines, campanile and dome silhouettes, and script labelling.
