Delle riflessioni sopra il buon gusto nelle scienze e nell'arti
Lodovico Antonio Muratori's essays on good taste in the sciences and arts, printed by Niccolò Pezzana in Venice in 1742 for Italian scholarly readers. The pictures are small letterpress woodcut ornaments: a symmetrical fan of leaves, tulips and ribbons, and a woven basket spilling grapes and vine tendrils, usable as chapter headpieces, tailpieces and small black-and-white spot motifs.
