Delle ville di Plinio il giovane
An architectural study by Pietro Márquez, printed in Rome by Generoso Salomoni in 1796, reconstructing the Tuscan and Laurentine country villas described in the letters of Pliny the Younger for antiquarians and architects. The plates are engraved ground plans in fine line, with hatched wall poché, keyed letters, dotted colonnades and a long hippodrome garden, useful as geometric line patterns and labelled diagram fragments.
