De l'usage des statues chez les anciens : essai historique
An antiquarian treatise by Octavien de Guasco on the uses of statues among the ancients, printed in Brussels by Jean-Louis de Boubers in 1768 for collectors and scholars of classical antiquities. Numbered plates show marble busts, radiate heads and Egyptian block figures in soft tonal engraving, each isolated on blank ground above a turned socle, useful for cut-out portrait heads, drapery studies and plinth forms.
