Dend første Part af adskillige danske Emblemata : med sine hosføyede Moralia, samlede til Tiids-Fordriv for det danske Sprogs Elskere
A Danish emblem book, the first part of Peter Werløes's collection of emblems with moral commentaries, printed at the royal privileged press in Copenhagen in 1732 for readers of Danish. The plates here are typographic ornament: heavy woodcut initials with flowers and foliage, calligraphic pen-flourished capitals, knotted line-fillers, and a dense acanthus headpiece band, usable as drop caps, rules and dividers.
