De numis hebraeo-samaritanis

Pérez Báyer, Francisco, 1711-1794 · 1781 · Valentiae Edetanorum Monfort · 17 pictures

A Latin numismatic treatise on Hebrew and Samaritan coins, written by the Valencian scholar and Hebraist Francisco Pérez Bayer and printed at Valencia by Monfort in 1781 for antiquarians and biblical philologists. The engravings pair obverse and reverse of each coin, joined by a bracket and metal mark, showing date palms, vine leaves, beaded rims and paleo-Hebrew lettering on irregular flans, useful as small circular emblems and archaic alphabet reference.
