De re ichnographica : cujus hodierna praxis exponitur, et propriis exemplis pluribus illustratur : inque varias, quae contingere possunt, ejusdem aberrationes, posito quoque calculo, inquiritur
A Latin treatise on land surveying and plane-table mapping by the Viennese court mathematician Giovanni Jacopo de Marinoni, engraved by Johann Christoph Winkler and Franz Alois Mayr and printed in Vienna in 1751 for surveyors and geometers. Engraved plates pair fine-lined estate and Danube island plans—hatched fields, tree stipple, orchard rows—with measuring rods, sighting lines, scale bars and a compass rose.
