Der Hitzschlag auf Märschen : mit Benutzung der Akten der Medicinal-Abtheilung des Preussischen Kriegs-Ministeriums
A German military-medical monograph on heatstroke during troop marches, written by the army physician Arnold Hiller from the records of the Prussian War Ministry's medical department and published by Hirschwald in Berlin in 1902 for army doctors and hygienists. The seven plates are small wood-engraved diagrams of measuring instruments — graduated thermometers suspended in a stoppered bottle, a whirling hygrometer with vaned crank, a sling psychrometer, an aspirating box with rubber bulb and tubing — drawn in fine parallel hatching on tinted paper, useful as compact apparatus silhouettes and hatching reference.
