A descriptive catalogue of Swiss coins in the South Kensington museum;
A descriptive catalogue of the Swiss coins in the South Kensington Museum, compiled by Reginald Stuart Poole from the Chauncy Hare Townshend bequest and printed in London by Eyre and Spottiswoode in 1878 for collectors and museum readers. Its printed ornament revives Renaissance woodcut work: grotesque headpiece friezes of scrolling acanthus, masks, beasts and fruit, plus figured initials with vine stems.
