A two-volume sale catalogue of Tassie's plaster and paste casts of ancient and modern engraved gems, compiled by Rudolf Erich Raspe and published in London in 1791 for collectors, antiquaries and artists. Outline engravings set each intaglio or cameo inside an oval or round bezel: standing deities, zodiac roundels, seated assemblies, kneeling nudes, veiled profile heads, usable as medallion frames, emblems and figure silhouettes.
