Descrizione delle sculture, pitture et architetture della città, e sobborghi di Pescia nella Toscana
A topographical survey of the sculpture, painting and architecture of Pescia and its suburbs, written by the painter Innocenzio Andrea Ansaldi and printed at Bologna in 1772 for antiquarians and art-minded travellers in Tuscany. The pictures here are small letterpress woodcut initials: square framed capitals set against hatched skies with towers, walled hillsides and cottages, plus one foliate P with curling acanthus, usable as drop caps, spot ornaments or coarse-line texture samples.
