Giovanni Cadioli's 1763 guide to the paintings, sculpture and architecture of Mantua and its surroundings, printed in Mantua by the heir of Alberto Pazzoni for visiting travellers. The plates are letterpress ornament: woodcut initials set in acanthus scrollwork or small landscapes, and headpieces with double-headed eagles, swags and drapery, useful as drop caps, rules and chapter dividers.
